I'm grateful to be able to commit myself to these global challenges as the president of the Geneva International Center for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) and of the Institut de Hautes Etude en Administration Public in Lausanne (IDHEAP), as member of the European Research Area Board (ERAB) and of the Board of the ETH Domain, and as head of econcept Inc. in Zurich. Bridging the gap between scientific knowledge and policy-making is a prerequisite for successfully committing politics to comprehensive approaches that benefits all.
